Won Jin Ah is a South Korean actress managed by Yooborn Company. She dreamed of being an actor but didn’t pass the entry exam and chose instead to study cultural planning. She eventually dropped out after a year and did a string of odd jobs to support her family, including at a postpartum confinement center, but her parents encouraged her to move to Seoul so she could have a better chance at fulfilling her dream.

She first appeared in the 2015 short movie "The Chosen: Forbidden Cave". After beating more than a hundred hopefuls in an audition, she was cast as the female lead of the 2017-2018 television drama series "Just Between Lovers", for which she later received a nomination for Best New Actress at the Baeksang Arts Awards and a newcomer win at the APAN Star Awards. She received a nomination for Best New Actress in the 25th Chunsa Film Art Awards for her 2020 film "Long Live the King".

On August 18, 2023 it was announced that she has signed with Artist Company.
