Chae Bo Hoon is a South Korean singer-songwriter and rock musician. In 2015, he created the one-man rock band "The Vane" and he writes, composes and arranges all songs. In 2016 and 2017 he gained popularity after he appeared in the MBC program "Duet Song", where he performed together with the lead singer of Jaurim, Kim Yoon-ah and won five times. In 2019, he participated in the JTBC show "Super Band" as a member of the rock band "Purple Rain" placing third overall. The band signed with JTBC Studio after the show and release their own music. However, the studio announced that Purple Rain disbanded in October 2020 when their promotional activities concluded.

He has also provided OSTs for several dramas such as "Save Me", "Two Cops", "Vagabond", "Hell Is Other People" and "Itaewon Class". He enlisted in the military on June 30, 2020 and was discharged on December 29, 2021.
