Shi Liang, born to a family of oil workers in Luzhou of Sichuan Province, is a Chinese actor and show host. He studied Peking opera (Laosheng) at Sichuan May 7th Art School when he was a child.

In 1978, he was admitted to Beijing Foreign Studies University, majoring in French Language and Literature. Upon graduation, he wrote a law thesis in French and obtained a master's degree in French. He went on to study business law and obtained a master's degree in international business management. Following that, he engaged in a financial career in France. In his spare time, he completed the performance training course of the French-American Film and Drama School, and started his career as an actor in France. In 1995, he played the "gang boss" in the French movie "The Patronus".

After returning to China in 2000, he participated in the 2001 anti-corruption TV series "Dang Guan", followed by the 2002 suspense movie "The Missing Gun".
